Today I went to watch < L saves the world> , it happens within the period of the deathnote 2 movie and its about a virus outbreak, better not say more of someone may find me in the middle of the night lol. But the point I want to make is that at the start of the movie, the US army used a MOAB or Massive Ordianance Air Bomb to wipe out traces of the village just because they are infected and dying. For those who dont know , MOAB is also known as the Mother Of All conventional Bombs, it creates the largest non- nuclear explosion in our world at the moment. But what I want to say is that is it really alright to sacrifice 'a few' human lives for 'the greater good' ? I think the main point of the deathnote series is how much danger perfectionists could potentially pose to mankind. We have all seen what Hitler did during the holocaust< go Read people!> , with the firepower and knowledge we have now, any rogue agent can create a 'dirty bomb' for their ideals. Fanatics/radicals who could be anybody has access to the knowledge on the internet and they do know how to use it. Sure , we could all unite under some "New World order", but that could prove to be mankind's greatest mistake, because , if the universal ruler/s abuse their power, idealism would be in again. I just wish that humans would stop fighting with each other.
Adults are like children. No matter how much each of us tries to deny it, there are starking similarities between the both of them. For example, children find friends and form groups, like nations forge alliances. Kids will quarrel over toys, nations fight over land and resources, kids fight and nations wage wars, both if they feel that they have been done an injustice. Its just that as adults , the stakes are raised. But we all do have times , some more than others that we don't use our brains. So many deaths and coups could have been resolved if we had cookies and milk on a table and could talk nicely to each other. Man tries to run away from childishness, in the end , they end up more childish than before. They say " real men fight, smoke , drink ,have sex, whatever crap, whatever crap", isn't that that like kids who dont think about consequences before acting? No im not saying that everyone is like that, but dont we all like to indulge in a guilty pleasure or 2 once in awhile, like eating sweet things< lol>. If only we could one day know every single person on the street and be on talking terms with each other.
I do know that is a childish hope , probably some fights have run too deep , I just hope they realize they are killing their same kind one day , humans. I remember there was one coup whereby 2 fractions were fighting each other for control of the country, then one day , the fighting stopped because they realised they were not fighting for anything and as a result the country was like the stone age. I think I'll stop here , lol hopefully im not boring you people,
